Sunday…
I was awake most of the night. I got to sleep for a couple of hours and then at 3AM, my neighbor decided it was time to rev his car and add accessories. Good thing my thoughts, unuttered, did not drop him on the spot. I was miffed! He now has blinking AND sparkling strobe lights. Friday, Saturday and Sunday he repainted his red with white stripes sports car. Now it is all white. Last week I endured endless hours of bondo and sanding…day after day…after day….
The “establishment” forbade him to work on his car here, but it makes no difference to him. Grrrrrr…..
I picked up Rhett and his house guest, Dino. Got to church and a brother said he had forgotten to tell me that the bishop says it’s OK for me to bake the sacrament bread each week. Did I bring it? The look of horror on my face prompted another brother to tell me it wasn’t my problem this week ;-o
During testimonies, Zeke looked distressed and started retching. You’ve never seen a wimp hobble out so fast to the great outdoors. We sat out in the hallway the rest of the meeting…near the door. Family History was a wash for me. A sister was very bummed and I spent time talking to her. As soon as I got to class, I was called out for administrative stuff.
Not too far into Relief Society, Zeke retched again and I practically ran outside. Tough day at church! To top it off, I was having myasthenia shock attacks. Feels like I stuck my finger in an electric socket. My head hurt sooooooooooo bad
Finally a brother found my computer in his truck. He was going to give it to me after church. I went to look for him, but he was MIA.
I took Dino back to Rhett’s and fed Rhett and I at my apartment. Then we drove to Winter Haven where I got a new-to-me microwave oven from freecycle. It’s a nice GE :-)
I’m really tired and feverish and my neck is swollen and almost everything hurts. Tomorrow has got to be better….
