Duh!

 

 

I woke up around 6 AM feverish and soaked in sweat. I wasn’t sure if I felt worse, or just thought I did.

During sacrament meeting I felt worse and worse. I wondered if I was getting the stomach bug that’s going around. During genealogy class I was queasy and felt icky all over. At some point I realized I was hugging myself…something I rarely do.  My mouth kept watering and the pain started. In Relief Society,  my mouth was watering like crazy and I felt I was going to throw up. 

I fled to the bathroom. Then I took Zeke outside to go. I felt REALLY queasy, so sat in my van for a few minutes. I went back to Relief Society and  finally realized it was a #$%^!!@#!! kidney stone doing it to me. I didn’t even realize I was leaking tears until a woman rubbed my back. Soon the pain was almost unbearable. It was sooooooo embarrassing, but soon I was crying like a baby.

I got yet another blessing. This time from Rhett and Brother Blackwelder. In the middle of the blessing, the floodgates let loose and tears came out like a river. I had to drive Rhett and Dino home and I remember nothing about driving but the humongously sharp pains whenever there was the slightest bump.

By the time I got home, the pain had moved down to my lower back…real low. I have one heck of a headache, but most of the queasiness has disappeared. It’s absolutely miraculous how the pain gets better after a  priesthood blessing!

After Relief Society, a woman put her face against mine and kissed me. I was burning up…she felt cold. After the blessing, I broke out in goosebumps twice and my fever has gone down.
