It has been a long time since we had a storm with so much lightning and thunder! Some of the bolts were RIGHT here. At one point I had to get up to use the bathroom. I was quickly joined by Aleka in the sink and Zeke at my feet. How cozy! 
I’m afraid I’m not much protection. Lightning has already bit me three times over the years.
There was only a 30% chance of rain, so I watered the plants. Ha, ha, ha, ha….now they are flooded. Bringing out 4 gallons of water was about it for my physical exertion today. I didn’t do my laundry or dishes or shopping or empty the garbage or anything else on my to-do list. I am utterly exhausted just sitting here.
Every time I get into a good snooze, Judy comes along and bangs on the door. ARGH! At night the obnoxious neighbors make tons of noise. I am soooooooooo tired! There were several days around Easter when my neighbors disappeared. It was wonderful!!! I slept like a log. Now there’s never a quiet moment.
