The Mystery Noise

I *think* I have figured out what sounded like a rocket blasting off. I was watching the morning news and they showed a DC-3 at the local Fun & Sun. We were warned that it will be flying at 1000 feet with lots of noise and smoke.

Rhett and I were near the airport last night and small, old planes were in a line to land as far as I could see. The Air Force jets have been flying low and fast the last couple of days. Apparently the old DC 3 is one noisy prop plane!
