Well, I would really like a bed. What I have now is a twin mattress on the floor.
The rest is not as necessary. How about if I tell you what I DO have…
The apartment came with a table and two kitchen chairs, a bedroom vanity made of metal and glass plus a chair that fits under it. I use the vanity to feed Aleka her cat food above dog level. I have gotten smarter and use the chair to help me off the floor when getting out of bed 
The apartment also came with a broom and dust pan and a crazy wing back chair. The chair had a split wooden leg, so I bound it tight with duct tape. The last tenant began upholstering it but didn’t finish so it’s rather unique looking ;-p A throw or some sort of cover for the chair would be nice.
From my van are 6 drawers for my clothes. A few days ago I bought enough hangers to hang up all the sort of clothes that need it. I also have a twelve drawer unit from the van that holds most of what I own in the toiletries, flashlight, junk and sewing departments. I bought a little cabinet for a dollar. Right now it has a bendable lamp clipped to it. I have 4 white plastic open bins that I keep magazines and papers in. These are the kind that stack. I have my folding camping chair in the living room.
At garage sales this summer I bought a microwave and a bunch of other small appliances for a few bucks. Great deal! I have pretty much everything I need for my kitchen. I seem to be missing my wooden spoons…I’ll get more at the Dollar Tree.
There’s one closet not in my bedroom that is full of my tent, screen house and other camping gear.
Not much else in my apartment, nor do I need much more. All the things that are mine and did not come with the apartment can fit in my van.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for church rummage sales and garage sales in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. I didn’t find a Freecycle list for either of those towns.
